Cheval Residences dominates TripAdvisor rankings

Cheval Residences has five of its six properties ranked in the top 10 on TripAdvisor in the category of Speciality Lodging for London. The properties to make the top ten are Cheval Three Quays at the Tower of London (number one), Cheval Gloucester Park (number three) Cheval Knightsbridge (number seven), Cheval Phoenix House at Sloane Square (number eight) and Cheval Harrington Court in South Kensington (number nine). Cheval Thorney Court is also in a prominent position at number 22. There are 986 properties in the Speciality Lodging category, which covers serviced apartments, hostels, special interest accommodation and accommodation open less than six months of the year. To be listed in this section, the accommodation must have daily onsite staff and a minimum stay of no more than seven nights. Philipson will be dedicated to offering outstanding service to guests across the portfolio of five-star residences. Prior to joining Cheval Residences, Philipson, who has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, held several senior positions at Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Rocco Forte Hotels and MacDonald Hotels & Resorts. In his role as Vice President of Operations for Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Philipson was responsible for spearheading the performance of properties in Thailand, Vietnam, China, Seychelles, Maldives, Portugal Jordan and Oman, with a focus on profitability, reputation and overall product and service quality. Cheval Residences featured on What3words location app

UK: London-based Cheval Residences has become the first serviced apartment specialist to be featured on the location app What3words. Cheval has integrated the What3Words satellite mapping app across all eight of its London properties. The move comes as global mapping and navigation corporation Tom Tom announced it will integrate the What3Words platform with TomTom's consumer and business products later this year. What3words is a system that encodes precise geographic coordinates into three words, simplifying the way to find a location - which will benefit those looking to book and navigate to accommodation in large cities. 16th May 2018 The impact of new technology in the hospitality sector was the hot topic of a panel discussion hosted by Cheval Residences , and featuring representatives from Booking.com , SideMinder and  Four Engage. Around 70 individuals from the hospitality and legal sectors attended the 2nd edition of the Serviced Apartment Networking Group to hear about issues ranging from the impact of Artifical Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain technology, to making the most of the data we as hoteliers already hold.
