London Restaurant Festival 2013

The London Restaurant Festival, taking place from 3 to 21 October 2013, is a celebration of London’s diverse and accomplished restaurant and food and drink scene. The city is widely regarded as one of the hottest restaurant destinations in the world at the moment, which is certainly something to celebrate.

This year, the London Restaurant Festival has teamed up with a host of stars, including Gizzi Erskine, Jonathan Ross, Jason Atherton, Angela Hartnett and Theo Randall.

Approximately 350 London restaurants will take part in the festival, where special menus will be created offering excellent value lunches and dinners, enabling Londoners to try a variety of different restaurants throughout the festival.

Another big part of the London Restaurant Festival is the events and restaurant-hopping tours, including the Tapas Tours, Cicchetti Trails and Japanese Journeys, where you can have a dish and a drink in each of six participating venues.

Some of the restaurants involved include Ametsa, Copita, Fernandez & Wells; Polpo, Massimo, Theo Randall at the Intercontinental; Inamo, Tonkotsu and Sake No Hana.

Perhaps the highlight of the events on offer is the Gourmet Odyssey, where you can experience three courses in three different restaurants.

Enjoy a sky high experience in The Shard at Hutong and Aqua Shard; The Masters Gourmet Odyssey including Benares, Wild Honey and Gauthier Soho; or the Discovery Gourmet Odyssey at Social Eating House, Gymkhana and Picture.
