My day with the Maintenance team at Cheval Thorney Court

Image
Cheval Thorney Court offers some of our largest and most spacious apartments at 2,500 square feet / 232 square meters which is more than 12 times the size of your average hotel room! This residence embodies classic English charm and is located on the border of Kensington Gardens. Being our most seasoned residence, it embodies a charismatic flair that would only feel right in London. Cheval Thorney Court like the 7 other Cheval Residences is unique and embodies the same customer ethos and excellent service levels we are renowned for throughout the Group. I spent a day with Maintenance Supervisor, Les, and team-mates Bono, Martin and Darren in the maintenance department and learnt just how a well-oiled machine like this residence operates. Les’ time at Cheval started 5 years ago when he was employed on a temporary maintenance cover, and quickly impressed to become a   permanent fixture. He enthuses over the big changes that have happened to this residence over the past few year...

While it’s been forever immortalized in English literature as a tertiary character in Emily Bronte’s 19th century classic “Wuthering Heights,” today the region has carved out a reputation as being a gastronomic destination with six Michelin-starred restaurants in the co...
