Image
Picture from Lala Noleto Cheval Knighstbridge and London Fashion Week together! This year Cheval Residences played a special role in the London Fashion Week. No, we did not have our managers featuring in the catwalk (yet).  Cheval Knightsbridge and Cheval Phoenix House received some of the best fashion bloggers from Brazil, from the F*Hits network, the first prime network of fashion from Brazil.  The bloggers came to London seeking the news in the fashion world, to share all they saw in the fashion shows in their blogs, for the thousands of girls that check their blogs everday. And we were very proud to see that Cheval Residences deserved a little space in the girl's blogs. Find more about the apartments from what they wrote and their pictures (and you will love all the fashion tips too). Hermès unveils a modern tableware collection

Image
Cheval Calico House is in the modern neighbourhood The City French fashion brand Hermès introduced its Rallye 24 collection of tableware last month in a Paris garage stocked with vintage sports cars. The Paris-based firm has a storied association with the world of automobiles: In 1923 Thierry’s grandson Émile-Maurice introduced a chic leather handbag dubbed the sac pour l’auto (still sold as the Bolide bag), as well as trunks to fit on the backs of Bugattis and slick chrome radiator caps. Inspired by this legacy of the world of motor racing, the new tableware re-imagines the classic chain d’ancre design as a race car track. The 49-piece collection of jewel-colored porcelain has a pattern of ellipses reminiscent of speedways. The rich colors evoke old international racing liveries, like Italian red, French blue, German silver and British green. Rallye 24 reflects the sporting life, Hermès’s theme for 2013. The dishes will be available by the end of March. Prices ran

Harrods Partners With Dior On Store Takeover

Image
Cheval Knightsbridge is near Harrods It's not like we need extra reasons to go to Harrods. The world known luxury department store in London is perfect to go shopping, to have a cup of coffee or even just to admire the windows. But even if you thought you know Harrods like the back of your hand, prepare to rediscover the store in a whole different - and french - way.  Harrods is partnering with Christian Dior on a huge-scale store takeover this spring. The famed department store will become a tribute to the French fashion house - featuring never-before-seen exhibitions, displays and in-store activity. From March 16 to April 14, Harrods, will be tranformed as part of a month-long feast of Christian Dior mixing ”French Savior Fair and British charm”. The Brompton Road store windows will be transformed by Dior's instantly recognisable colour scheme of grey and white. Dior, whose relationship with London goes way back (Mr. Dior actually staged a show at Harrods ba

The best coffee shops in London

Image
Fleet River Bakery Cheval Calico House is nearby Workshop Coffee Co. People often do a lot of research before going to a restaurant. They care about quality, price, localization, reviews, ambience. However, on the moment of a simple coffee and cake, many end up going anywhere and having a cup of coffee not worth of their time. The big chains can be practical for being everywhere. But what about the real good coffee shops, that brew their own coffee and bake their own cake, and are independent to do things in a new way?  London has a lot of them worth trying and on this list you will find some of them: Lantana – Fitzrovia This delightful coffee house is nestled down a lane in Fitzrovia. Lantana’s Australian ownership is reflected in the brunch style dishes, flat whites and relaxed atmosphere. It runs an In and Out operation with the premise being split into two; one for takeaways and the other half for sit down meals. The cakes are particularly good and break

The latest Rolls-Royce unveiled, the Wraith is pure luxury

Image
The wait is over, the teasing has stopped and Rolls-Royce has officially taken the wraps off its latest luxury offering, the Wraith. This two-door coupe version of the Ghost is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever. The 6.6-litre V12 engine produces 624bhp and drives the Wraith from 0-60mph in just 4.4 seconds. However, thanks to an eight-speed automatic transmission, this power is delivered in a smooth, seamless curve so that rear-seat passengers don’t spill their cocktails. Rolls-Royce is quick to emphasize that although the Wraith benefits drivers in terms of re-worked suspension and reduced body roll, the car is “no GT Bruiser” and everything its engineers have done to increase the car’s sporting credentials has in no way affected its ride, which is still akin to riding on a bed of air. One ingenious technological feature that the Wraith sports to ensure passenger comfort is satellite-aided transmission (SAT).  Using GPS data to understand the road conditions ahead

Bentley's first luxury fragrance captures the essence of supercars

Image
After impressing with the launch of the world's fastest four-seat convertible, the 2014 Continental GT Speed, and the remarkable luxury saloon 2014 Bentley Flying Spur, the acclaimed British manufacturer of luxury automobiles Bentley Motors now delightfully launches its first luxury fragrance collection, the ‘Bentley for Men’ and the ‘Bentley for Men Intense’.  Interestingly, the fragrance range which captures the ‘essence’ of their powerful supercars also brings together the master French crystal maker Lalique and the iconic British car company for the creation of the first limited edition crystal flacon for Bentley, the 'Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition'. And this impressive collaboration further allows the transposition of Bentley brand core attributes into ultra-luxury fragrance. However, it’s not new to see noted automakers venturing into luxury fragrance business, as the German automaker Mercedes-Benz in 2011 launched the perfume for men created by the renow
