Man about town.

We all dream of being a superhero or secret agent, don’t we? This week’s blog explores how to have a quintessentially British James Bond Experience (the Cheval way) this Summer! Our first point of action is a crisp and dapper tailored suit from Savile Row, we love the way Scabal creates sleek and modern suits for the man about town. These garments are perfect for and compliment the Cheval Gentleman, both being ageless and graceful. Not only do they make more than 85,000 suits worldwide per year in their 10 global stores (gracing both Europe and Asia), Scabal have ‘a passion for cloth’ crafting and mastering their own fabric blends. http://bit.ly/Peq5uf 12 Savile Row , London, W1S 3PQ Next up we need a car, an Aston Martin to be specific. True British icons.  It is hard not to love them both. And when they get together. is impossible to resist.  Bentley Motors and Vintage Classics are partnering for a 500-copy limited run of James Bond debut “Casino Royale,” pricing the leather-cased copies at £750 apiece. Bollinger Champagne pays tribute to James Bond

Image
If you ask anyone what is James Bond's favorite drink the answer will most likely be Martinis. But a real fan of the #1 britain's spy might add the Bollinger Champagne to his list of preferences. One of the most enduring marketing partnerships in motion picture history, Bollinger first appeared in the 1973 movie, Live and let die, where Mr. Bond asks for a bottle of the champagne after entering his hotel. After that Bollinger made an appearance in other 11 Bond's movies, including the lastest, Quantum of Solace.  To celebrate the 50 years of the spy, the french brand has decided to launch a box set titled "Bollinger 002 for 007". Inside the case, a silencer-styled box inspired by the accessory on Bond's Walter PKK pistol houses a bottle of champagne. To access the bottle, you have to enter the code 007 and press the iconic pistol logo that is often seen in the film's opening credits. Inside the box lies a bottle of Bollinger La Grande AnnĂ©e 2002, ...

Fifty Years of Bond Style at The Barbican

Image
The Barbican Gallery in London hosts an exhibition of design and style between 6 July and 5 September, celebrating 50 years of the spy James Bond in theaters. Tickets cost between £ 8 and 12 pounds. The house shows posters of 007 movies, replicas of weapons and cars, and wax recreations of the actors who embodied the secret agent. The exhibition is based from the first movie Dr. No to the newest appearance of the spy, Skyfall. Visitors can meet a full-size version of the actor Sean Connery, known to be the first to play Bond in the movies. The agent James Bond, known by the code 007 was created by British writer Ian Fleming in 1953. Almost ten years after gaining fame in literature, the spy starred his first feature film in 1962. Since then, several directors have turned Fleming’s books  into theater success. It is also possible to go to the Martini Bar and experience the 007 lifestyle for real.
