Say hello to Ben! Operations Manager at Cheval Harrington Court. Opened in June 2014, this dynamic team’s hard work has helped secure their place in the Top 10 on Trip Advisor’s Speciality Lodging category.

My favourite thing about this residence is that it exudes the passion and love Ben and co put into it, from the stunning weekly flower arrangements we share on social media to the hand constructed fabric swans placed in the apartment for honeymooners. Cheval Harrington Court sure know how to make their guests feel special.

The atmosphere here is lovely both front and back of house. Each morning a team member is recognised with a bar of chocolate, a ‘Thank You’, for outstanding work (be it excellent guest interaction or going that extra mile), and a great way to start the day with some positivity! Ben also makes his guests feel special by placing a leafy green plant in each guests bathroom to brighten up the most rainy of days.

With Cheval Harrington Court running at 100% capacity, it looks like it will be a busy morning for all. We start the day off with an operations meeting discussing the days departures and arrivals, allocating apartments to guests, discussing the daily maintenance work and replying to Trip Advisor reviews and it’s not even 9:30am!

Next we had some very important Australian travel agents popping by at 11am for a quick show around; so it was time to make some extra special fresh juices (made with strawberry, raspberry and banana) with the delightful Andreea! Watch our fab instructional video here:

Well… the juices went down a treat with our VIP’s and I overhead them say how Cheval Harrington Court really stood out compared to the others seen that day, noting the ceiling to floor windows letting in so much natural light. It was fantastic to hear such positive feedback!

The afternoon was met with a quick pizza break before another show around, this time it was my turn for a tour. It was great to see how much this residence had grown and evolved since I stayed during opening weekend last June.

Ben really has magnetic energy as no job is too little or too big for him. He prides himself on pitching in and getting involved in the day to day guest experience. Throughout the afternoon we covered reception, kept the foyer ship shaped and sparkling and even fixed a leaking printer; ensuring everything ran smoothly and operated perfectly.

With such great guest feedback and dedication from staff, it’s clearly evident why Cheval Harrington Court were awarded ‘Best Hospitality and Service Experience’ at the ASAP awards in 2014.
