Selfridges Click-and-Collect service - shop at home, pick up in store

Cheval Knightsbridge is near Selfridges Oxfort Street

Are you too busy to go shopping? Are having trouble sleeping? Or maybe, a problem that happens with all the ladies: you regret not buying that dress and can't wait for the next day (and have nightmares that it will not be available anymore)?

+Selfridges has the solution.  This month the worldwide famous department store lauched the Click-and-collect service. Already available in their four stores in UK: London Oxford Street, Manchester Trafford and Manchester Exchange Square and its Birmingham store situated in the Bullring.

The service is simple: make your choice in the store's online store, selfridges.com, add the chosen products to the bag. Chose Click-and-Collect as the shipping metod and chose the store you wish to take your product! Easy and simple. You will receive an email with all the purchase details and another email once the product is ready to be collected..

This new service combines the convenience of e-shopping with the added luxury of picking up your items at in store, rather than trying to time a delivery or waiting weeks for your items to arrive in a box. As long as you place your order before 4 p.m., you can collect them the next day at one of the four Selfridges stores.
Once you arrive in store, you can try on your items before you go as with this service, you also benefit from 30 minutes of free parking. And, if you forgot to include anything, you can add items to your order using the iPads provided.

With a few exceptions, almost all the products are available for the Click-and-Collect.

But wait, you don't even have the time to get out of the car? It's ok. Starting next year, Selfridges will launch  its new service called ‘drive-thru’, a first of its kind. The service will allow customers to order goods online and collect them via 'drive-thru' at their designated collection point without having to leave their car.
A drive-thru reception is under construction at Edwards Mews, Oxford Street where customers will wait in their vehicles while a member of Selfridges’ staff collects and brings them their order.

Still have some questions about the Click-and Collect service? Find all the answers and all the details in their page. The exceptions include some watches, technology (including Apple), flowers, lighting, Astley Clarke jewellery, Indian Ocean furniture and TUMI luggage.
