Cocktails made with love

Image
Some would say Summer is all about cocktails and fun and we have to agree! This week we hosted a fabulous client event at Cheval Harrington Court serving up healthy and happy mocktails to all our wonderful guests courtesy of family run local South Kensington juicers D McKay Fruiterers (19A Harrington Road, South Kensington, SW7 3ES ). These brothers who juice have a strict fresh and pure policy with a no additives or preservatives rule! Ian and co have kindly shared their recipe for these beautiful mocktails with us below. Cheval Harrington Red Luscious strawberries Seeded raspberries Bouncy blackberries Crisp green apples And some love Cheval Harrington Yellow Polished green apple Zesty lemon Gloriously tangy ginger And of course more love If that didn’t wet your whistle and for those in need of a stiff drink, we’ve also got you covered. We’ve compiled our favourite London cocktail bars to shake a stick at! SushiSamba Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsga...

Man about town.

We all dream of being a superhero or secret agent, don’t we? This week’s blog explores how to have a quintessentially British James Bond Experience (the Cheval way) this Summer! Our first point of action is a crisp and dapper tailored suit from Savile Row, we love the way Scabal creates sleek and modern suits for the man about town. These garments are perfect for and compliment the Cheval Gentleman, both being ageless and graceful. Not only do they make more than 85,000 suits worldwide per year in their 10 global stores (gracing both Europe and Asia), Scabal have ‘a passion for cloth’ crafting and mastering their own fabric blends. http://bit.ly/Peq5uf 12 Savile Row , London, W1S 3PQ Next up we need a car, an Aston Martin to be specific. Global car hire giant Sixt has many pick up points across London and deals in a variety of luxury automobiles. Feel like Bond in the legendary Goldfinger and Goldeneye movies or for a younger feel,  the modern classics...

Sushinho - east and west cultures in the kitchen

Image
If you like unconventional food you will love Sushinho .  Sushinho is a restaurant and cocktail bar that takes its cue from the japanese brazilian culture thriving in Brazil today, since it is the home to the largest population of ethnic Japanese living outside Japan, giving rise to the creation of Japanese dishes imbued with exotic Brazilian influences and ingredients.  Sushinho (pronouced su-shee-nyo) is a combination of the word sushi, the well-know Japanese dish of raw fish, vegetables or pickel on seasoned rice, and -inho, an uniquely brazilian/portuguese suffix meaning diminutive, younger, smaller. Celebrating this culinary fusion, Sushinho provides you with a warm welcome, great food, fabulous cocktails and friendly service with every visit. The ground floor bar is open every day in conjunction with the restaurant. For reservations call 020 7342 7496 or book you table online here .
