The Chocolate Week in London - tasty!

Today, October 8th 2012, starts the Chocolate Week in London. Featuring all prestigious Chocolate Makers, Chocolate Shops and Bakeries in London, the week makes all chocolate lovers anxious for the upcoming events. 

With so many interesting (and delicious) things to see, one of the brands decided to take it to the next level. 

Luxury British chocolatier and cocoa grower Hotel Chocolat is holding a supper club during Chocolate Week. Served normally in their Resort in St. Lucia Island, the exquisite chocolate inspired cuisine lands in London for the event.

"Boucan Supper Club is a delicious taste of the 'cocoa cuisine' pioneered at our Boucan Hotel & Restaurant in Saint Lucia. You'll enjoy a four-course menu created by Chef Jon Bentham (Michelin starred under Gary Rhodes) - which explores the savoury and sweet nature of cocoa as a spice, as an infucion, but always with a delicate touch. Matched with the perfect wines, selected for us by a Master of Wine at Berry Bros & Rudd.
Held at the flsagship Roas+Conch in Convent Garden, the Supper Club menu will be prepared in the theatre kitchen and will feature cocoa throughout - as a savoury spice, a delicate infucion and in chocolate form in savoury and sweet recipes"

Cheval Three Quays Marks Remembrance Day with a donation to the British Legion

Crowds gather to witness the nightly ceremony at the Tower of London. To mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, Cheval Three Quays has pledged to donate a week’s profits from two of its apartments facing the Tower of London to the Royal British Legion charitable fund. The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans and their families. Many of the building’s apartments face directly onto the 1,000 year-old castle, offering a unique perspective of the moving tribute taking place until the 11 th  November, as 10,000 flames are lit in the moat on a nightly basis. The installation, entitled ‘Beyond the Deepening Shadow: The Tower Remembers’, is intended to honour the sacrifice of the many who fell during the four-year conflict.
