Cheval Residences celebrates its fourth year of Ham Polo

This summer, luxury London based serviced apartment specialist, Cheval Residences celebrates its 4th annual Cheval Cup at Ham Polo Club, Richmond.  On Sunday 8 July, Cheval Residences will welcome guests, including colleagues, clients, partners, media and industry contacts, to a relaxed and entertaining drinks reception, luncheon and an afternoon of polo.
With polo grounds in Richmond, only eight miles from Hyde Park Corner, Ham Polo Club is the last remaining polo club in Greater London. Founded in 1926, Ham has an established and distinguished reputation now over 90 years old. Known for excellent playing and social facilities combined with a relaxed family atmosphere Ham Polo Club is well worth a visit for any polo fan.
This year will be Cheval’s largest polo event, with over 200 guests expected to attend.  The day will provide Cheval with the opportunity to thank everyone for their collaborations with the brand, looking back on the first half of the year, mingling and soaking up the atmosphere of the day.
Alistair Paterson, professional England polo player said: “I am so happy to be invited back and very much looking forward to the games. I played last year and it was a great event – impressive turnout and a competitive and brilliant match – hopefully, we can replicate it again this year!”
Sarah Sinclair, club secretary of the Ham Polo, looks forward to her second year of the Cheval cup: “We put on polo events every Sunday but the Cheval event is something we particularly look forward to. Last year’s Cheval cup was my first event with the luxury serviced apartment specialist and it was a baptism of fire – incredibly fun, fast-paced and fantastic day! Now I know exactly how it works, I’m looking forward to this year’s cup tournament even more. It is a great brand to collaborate with and we are extremely lucky to be working together for what I am sure will be an even bigger and better event!”

Cheval Three Quays Marks Remembrance Day with a donation to the British Legion

Crowds gather to witness the nightly ceremony at the Tower of London. To mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, Cheval Three Quays has pledged to donate a week’s profits from two of its apartments facing the Tower of London to the Royal British Legion charitable fund. The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans and their families. Many of the building’s apartments face directly onto the 1,000 year-old castle, offering a unique perspective of the moving tribute taking place until the 11 th  November, as 10,000 flames are lit in the moat on a nightly basis. The installation, entitled ‘Beyond the Deepening Shadow: The Tower Remembers’, is intended to honour the sacrifice of the many who fell during the four-year conflict.
