Back in 5 Minutes - Dine Behind a Designer Clothes Store

Cheval Thorney Court is near Back in 5 minutes

Back in 5 minutes is a new project from the Disappearing Dining Club, who have previously been best-known for some very innovative and entertaining one-off nights.  Now they're offering something more permanent - and will be open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and soon Sunday.

Hidden away behind a designer clothes shop on Brick Lane and seating up to 30 guests, Back in 5 Minutes offers great food, superb drinks and weekly dining experiences, alongside private lunches, dinners and drinks parties.
Back in 5 Minutes takes regular restaurant bookings of 1-30 guests every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening, and every Sunday lunch.

This is the menu they prepare for each night:

"At Wednesday’s Dinner Club, dinner is a three course, family style sharing menu, served to all of our guests at 7.30pm.  Think Shoreditch Smoked Salmon (from our very own Smoke House) & Asparagus, or Curried Dorset Crab Salad, followed by Roast Rump of Spring Lamb, or Grilled Fillet of Sea Trout, with Orange & Black Pepper Panna Cotta or Elderflower Eton Mess for dessert.  Vegetarians and guests with special dietary requests are well looked after, with key ingredients being removed from the entire menu or individual dishes being provided where the main menu is not suitable.  Dinner is £30 per person, and includes a welcome Grey Goose Le Fizz cocktail on arrival.

On Friday & Saturday Back in 5 Minutes, is open for restaurant bookings and drop-in diners from 6.30pm.  Dinner is either 2 or 3 courses with a simple menu of 3 starters, 3 mains, and 3 desserts for £25 or £30 per person, with a welcome glass of Grey Goose Le Fizz.  Expect dishes like Beetroot Cured Trout Fillet, Chicken Liver Parfait with Green Beans and Chicken Hearts, or Grilled English Asparagus and Sauce Mousseline to start, Haddock Fillet with Welsh Rarebit Crust, Slow Roast Pork Shoulder with Anchovy & Chorizo Pomme Boulangere, or Green Pea & Summer Truffle Risotto for the main, and Steamed Strawberry Jam Roly-Poly, or Apple Crumble Ice Cream and Calvados Toffee Sauce, or some great British cheeses for dessert.  A short, 12 bottle wine list changes constantly, with our ‘one case only’ wine policy meaning that there is always something new just around the corner.  Cocktails are by Abdul Kpekawa and Tom Soden, formerly of Experimental Cocktail Club and Trailer Happiness in Notting Hill.

Every Sunday From September 9th - Sunday is the perfect Sunday Lunch destination with our Spring/Summer Sunday menu, serving big cuts of traditional Sunday dinner roasts, with big and healthy salads to share with your friends. Sunday Lunch is served at 1pm every week, with 2 or 3 courses for £25 or £30.

Private Lunches & Dinner Parties - Throughout the rest of the week we’ll be hosting private lunches and dinner parties for guests that want to treat their friends and colleagues to the most private of private dining experiences, with lunch available every day from noon, and dinner and late night drinks available until 1am."
